Dr Tan Mei-Wen
Resident Dentist · Lumiere Dental Kota Warisan
Dr Tan graduated with a Doctor of Dental Surgery from MAHSA University in 2016, with Distinction in Conservative Dentistry. She began her career in the government sector at Klinik Pergigian Taman Medan, and chose to extend her time in public service before moving into private practice. She also holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Orthodontics.
With a strong interest in preserving natural teeth, Dr Tan believes dentistry goes beyond simply treating teeth. She takes a holistic and individualized approach, taking time to understand each patient's concerns, expectations and overall wellbeing when planning treatment.
Her approach centres on clear communication, thoughtful treatment planning and a high standard of care, because building trust and helping patients understand their treatment is what achieves good long-term oral health.
Outside of dentistry she is a home barista with a love for a good cuppa. A fun fact: she is a left-handed dentist working with a right-handed dental chair, something she has happily adapted to throughout her career.
